Ukraine arrests Russian spy
National Security Service of Ukraine announces that it has arrested a citizen who worked as a spy for the Russian military intelligence agency, just a few days after Ukrainian journalist arrested in Russia for spying.
The unidentified suspect has attracted the attention of the security service, as offered Russian citizenship a senior military officer and money in exchange for secret documents to the Army capacities and work with foreign partners, reports Reuters.
"Agents have caught him in the act until accepted a USB with false information that he thought that the secret documents are of a military nature," reads the statement.
Russian authorities have not commented on this event.
Otherwise, the Russian service announced Monday it had arrested an agent of Ukraine because of gathering intelligence for the Russian Army and security agencies, after which Ukraine has warned its citizens not to travel to Russia./Missany/
